DX-FINDER (v 1.5)
-----------------
For the DX-er. Confused by all the new prefixes? Tired of hunting
through lists of "special" prefixes to figure out where a station is
located? DX-Finder is an inexpensive solution. You type in a prefix
or complete callsign and the program identifies the country, CQ and
ITU zones, continent, and calculates the distance and beam heading
from your QTH to the center of the DX country.
DX-Finder properly identifies nearly all of the regular & special
prefixes now in use. Plus the data file can be updated by the user
when something new pops up! (We also release periodic updates of
the data file via BBSs). Comes complete with two versions: the
small, fast, original version (text screen) and the new graphical
version with world map (shows you where the DX is).
Requires: PC/XT/AT or compatible. (Graphical version requires EGA
or VGA).
Price: $12.00 (users with version 1.0 can upgrade to 1.5 by
sending in a formatted diskette and $1.00)
